Primary Duties

• Maintain inventory control and ensure financial records match physical inventory on site.
• Create and disperse customer invoices and maintain customer accounts.
• Perform daily cash reconciliations and process bank wires and ACH transactions.
• Manage accounts payable for raw materials, freight on shipments, project cost tracking and capital budgets.
• Assist in maintaining G/L accounts and preparing reports as required.
• Assist with month end close.
• Assist with external audits as required.
• Communicate with and disperse financial and non-financial information to internal and external parties as required.

Knowledge Required

• Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, production methods and coordination of resources.
• Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
• Knowledge of arithmetic, algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and their applications.
• Knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders and agency rules.
• Knowledge of electronic equipment, computer hardware and software, including applications and programming. Proficient in computers, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point).
  

Education & Work Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• One to three years of accounting experience reflective of the skills, abilities and knowledge contained in this description.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
• Five years of manufacturing experience as an accountant or equivalent role reflective of the skills, abilities and knowledge contained in this description.
• SAP Experience.
