GEMECO is a packaging company engaged in the manufacture of tin cans for infant dietetics, beverages, meat, fish, fruits, vegetables, and other food products.
GEMECO’s customers include: Angel Milk, Alaska Milk, 555 Sardines, Argentina Corned Beef, Century Tuna, Ligo Sardines, Purefoods Hormel - San Miguel, Swift, Virginia Foods, and Youngstown.
ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF
Responsibility
Successful candidate will be responsible in providing a full range of administrative support to the Operations Department which includes but not limited to the following:
- Coordinate with Department Leaders different projects and/or assignments to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the whole operation
- Ensure the correctness of details in various shipping documents local and overseas
- Monitor and record of weekly/ monthly reports of Department Leaders to ensure timely submission, follow-up if necessary
- Send and/or answer emails in a timely manner
- Must be a graduate of a four-year course preferably Computer Science or related course
- With at least 3 years of related working experience
- Above average computer proficiency
- Must be accustomed to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- A motivated team player with good interpersonal relations skills
- Highly organized and able to prioritize task
