Responsibilities

• As Backend Developer you will be designing, developing, and deploying backend solutions using Azure cloud services, ensuring high performance and reliability;
• You will be implementing and maintaining server-side logic using .NET Core/ASP.NET Core, providing the foundation for robust and scalable applications;
• You will be integrating Bluetooth device functionalities into Windows applications, ensuring seamless compatibility and reliability of connected devices;
• You will be building and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices to support frontend applications and Io T integrations, enhancing the application’s functionality and flexibility;
• You will be implementing and managing database schemas, queries, and data access layers, enabling efficient data storage and retrieval;
• You will be optimizing backend performance to ensure scalability and efficiency, adjusting to the needs of a growing user base;
• You will be applying security best practices to protect data and applications, safeguarding the system against vulnerabilities;
• You will be writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, ensuring readability and ease of future maintenance;
• You will be troubleshooting and resolving server-side issues, addressing any performance bottlenecks or technical challenges;
• You will be participating in code reviews and contributing to knowledge sharing within the team, fostering a collaborative learning environment;
• You will be assisting in the design and architecture of new features and applications, contributing valuable insights during the development phase;
• You will be ensuring the technical feasibility and integration of UI/UX designs, aligning the backend with frontend requirements;
• You will be contributing to the improvement of development processes and coding standards, supporting continuous enhancement of team workflows.

Requirement

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, showcasing a solid foundation in backend technologies and best practices;
• 2+ years of experience in Backend Development with .NET and Java, demonstrating your ability to build and maintain scalable server-side applications;
• Work in a hybrid set up (3 day onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 day WFH) – Necessary condition;
• Experience with C#, enabling you to develop robust backend solutions;
• Experience with Azure cloud services such as Azure Functions, Azure App Service, and Azure SQL Database, leveraging the cloud for scalable and efficient application;
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services, ensuring smooth communication between backend and frontend components;
• Experience with Bluetooth device development on Windows platforms, enabling integration of connected devices with applications;
• Proficiency in database design and management, particularly with SQL Server, supporting efficient data handling;
• Experience with Entity Framework Core or other Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks, simplifying database interactions;
• Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git, for effective collaboration and code management;
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, ensuring high-quality code and functionality;
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies, supporting a collaborative and iterative approach to project delivery.
