A Glimpse into Your New Role
As Bid Manager, you’ll work with Lightning Wholesale, a premier provider of ultra-fast broadband services to residential, business, and commercial customers, enabling productivity, creativity, efficiency, and connection. Reporting to the National Commercial Director, you’ll manage telco offerings, prepare complex tender responses, administer CRM records, and shape winning proposals in the telecommunications industry.
  • Draft and review client and supplier proposals and tender responses.
  • Manage pricing, financial analysis, and deal offerings, ensuring details are accurate and approved.
  • Shape commercial and proposal documentation to match market requirements.
  • Build pricing and ROI models to ensure financial clarity for new business.
  • Participate in business qualification, negotiate agreements, and resolve commercial issues with developers.
  • Build and maintain relationships with developers, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
  • Support sales pipelines, specializing in greenfield developments, including residential apartments, land subdivisions, commercial office buildings, and broad-acre commercial lots.
  • Report to the executive and board on compliance, financial performance, and new business metrics.
What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years in bid management or a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong proficiency in Word, Excel, Share Point, and Adobe.
  • Proven experience with pricing, tendering, and financial analysis in telecommunications or utilities infrastructure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a "can-do" attitude.
  • Confidence in engaging with diverse stakeholders, from subcontractors to C-level executives.
  • Excellent organizational and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with greenfield developments and modern CRM tools like Hub Spot is highly desirable.
