Business Development and Regulatory Assistant - Tacloban/Eastern Visayas

Background
Garrod is a full-spectrum, integrated healthcare services business. We are looking to hire a Business Development and Regulatory Assistant to help generate sales by establishing new partnerships and increasing our pharmacy distribution network.
Job Summary:
The Business Development and Regulatory Assistant is responsible for supporting the growth and compliance of Garrod Specialty Pharmacy. This dual role involves working closely with the team to identify and pursue growth opportunities, while also collaborating with branch pharmacists to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines set by health and government agencies.
This position reports directly to the Managing Director. This job requires high performance in inbound and outbound sales prospecting, using a range of tools including, but not limited to, phone, email, website, social media, and other digital media. The role-holder will act as the lead acquisition personnel, covering lead generation, prospecting, and sales closing.
Key Responsibilities: Business Development:
  • Assist in identifying potential business opportunities and partners within the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
  • Support the preparation of proposals and presentations for potential partners, including pharmaceutical companies, hospitals, and government agencies.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor offerings, and new services that align with the organization’s growth strategy.
  • Help maintain and build relationships with stakeholders, partners, and clients to support service expansion and access programs.
  • Track and report on business development initiatives, providing insights and suggestions for improvement.
  • Perform lead generation activities.
  • Perform lead profiling and sales presentations to potential partners, and acquire them to be part of company’s business lines.
  • Responsible for researching, contacting, and following up on leads that could create business opportunities and convert them into business actions.
  • Collaborate with company executives to determine the most viable, cost-effective approach to pursue new business opportunities.
  • Develop and sustain solid relationships with customers and other stakeholders. Promote customer delight.
  • Prepare sales and marketing research and reports related to business development activities.
  • Perform other assigned business development related tasks
Regulatory Affairs Coordination:
  • Work with branch pharmacists to ensure compliance with local and national regulatory requirements, including licensing, permits, and inspection readiness.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of documents and reports required by regulatory authorities, such as the Philippine FDA, Department of Health, and other relevant agencies.
  • Maintain organized records of all regulatory filings, approvals, and communication with regulatory bodies.
  • Stay updated on changes in regulatory policies and communicate any new requirements to relevant team members.
  • Support branch pharmacists in ensuring that products, services, and facilities meet standards required for government-accredited programs, such as those from PCSO and DSWD.
  • Coordinates with the inhouse Social Worker for PCSO, DSWD and other government agencies requirements and partnership
  • Create bidding documents and attend biddings when required
  • Perform other assigned regulatory related tasks
Qualifications:
  • Senior high school graduate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Pharmacy, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in business development, regulatory affairs, or a similar role in a healthcare or pharmaceutical setting is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Philippine FDA regulations and healthcare compliance requirements is an advantage but not a must.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate
Pay: From Php21,000.00 per month
