The position helps design and formulate tax saving measures and initiatives for the various companies that may be assigned. This role is the focal for ADMIN coordination with the various stakeholders including government agencies such as BIR, BOC, PEZA, BOI, etc.
He/She makes sure that all relevant tax matters, filings and all other related requirements are prepared complete, accurate and on time.
Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Preparation, review and filing of tax returns of identified operating companies.
• Preparation of reconciliations, schedules and other supporting documents in relation to the tax returns. • Supervise and coordinate with Finance Department for compliance with outstanding Letter of Authority/Tax Verification Notice issued by Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
• Liaise or coordinate directly with BIR for all tax matters of the operating companies.
• Coordinate and monitor tax compliance (BIR / LGU) of the operating companies.
• Participate in corporate projects requiring due diligence:
• Official custodian of all tax documents and related contracts.
• Such other tasks that may be assigned by the Group Tax Senior Manager.

Qualifications: 

• Graduate of BS Accountancy
• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant
• At least 2 years of experience in tax compliance
• Knowledge of basic taxation laws, rules and regulations
• Critical thinking and analytical skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in excel is a must.
• Keen on details
• Ability to work under pressure
• Willing to work overtime, if necessary
• Teamwork skills or ability to work in a team
