Qualification Standards:
Education: Master’s Degree or Certificate in Leadership and Management from the CSC
Experience: Four (4) years of supervisory/management experience
Training: Forty (40) hours of supervisory/management learning and development intervention
Eligibility: RA 1080 (CPA)

Job Responsibilities:
1. Oversees the Accounting function, ensuring the implementation of proper segregation of functions and
internal control procedures;
2. Ensures prompt preparation of statutory financial and management reports. Reviews analysis and
presentation of financial reports in an accurate and timely manner;
3. Clearly communicates monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements;
4. Oversees the prompt preparation of the annual corporate budget, projected financial statements (Balance
Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, Cashflow Statement, Changes in Equity, and other relevant reports) in
coordination with relevant division and department heads and in accordance with DBM, GCG, and COA and
rules & regulations;
5. Oversees all Petty Cash related expenses;
6. Ensures prompt business registrations and payment of fees;
7. Ensures adequate coverage of tax planning and compliance;
8. Ensures prompt tracking of expenses against budget and the implementation of corrective measures for
significant revenue or expense variances;
9. Ensures proper management of financial resources; Regularly reviews Cash Flow analysis and ensures
proper placement of funds to achieve optimum yields;
10. Coordinates with the COA to ensure a smooth and efficient audit, keeping management abreast of Audit
findings and corrective measures are taken;
11. Reviews adequacy of insurance coverage and their prompt renewal;
12. Oversees inventory of audit observations and follow-up actions to comply with all the audit
recommendations; and
13. Represents the Corporation during budget hearings/briefings with the DBM, Committee on Appropriations
and Senate of the Philippines.
