We are looking for a Dev Ops who would like to join our team implementing various projects for our client, which deals with support and management hosted cloud applications and accounts.
Responsibilities
- As Dev Ops you will be overseeing the deployment, maintenance, and administration of Elastic Search clusters, with a focus on infrastructure;
- You will be monitoring and troubleshooting performance issues within the Elastic Search environment to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime;
- You will be staying up-to-date with new features and licensing requirements to provide recommendations for improvements or transitions to cloud-based solutions;
- You will be configuring Elastic Search to meet security, monitoring and data management needs, utilizing both open-source and licensed features;
- You will be leveraging your expertise in No SQL databases to support and enhance the Elastic Search infrastructure, ensuring smooth integration and performance across various components of the system;
- You will be participating in scheduled meetings with teams in the US and other international regions;
- You will be working in flexible hours, with a preference for a schedule that aligns with European time and US evenings, adhering to Philippine holidays.
- 4+ years of experience as a Dev Ops Engineer with ELK Stack – Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana;
- Strong experience with No SQL databases;
- In-depth knowledge of Elastic Search administration and configuration;
- Proven ability to manage large log stacks, combine them into data streams, and configure Elastic Search for performance optimization;
- Flexibility to work in USA time zones, with overlapping meetings as required.
- Hands-on experience with Elastic Cloud Enterprise (ECE);
- Familiarity with the licensed version of Elastic Search (X-Pack);
- Experience working with APM and other security add-ons;
- Obtained Cloud certifications – Elastic Cloud, AWS, GCP, or Azure.
