Digital Prosthetics Engineer

- Correspond to design, fit, maintain and deliver prosthetic legs.
- Will be responsible for fieldwork – going to patients houses for scanning stumps and fitting prosthetics.
- Go to different places not only in Metro Manila but as well as provinces via several nights up to a week
- Making and reporting of work reports (like daily reports)
- Communicate with customers.
- Assess the skill of DPEs and give technical feedback.
- Provide the training with new members and unskilled DPE. Also, create the documents for the training
- Have leadership to tackle problems for the new activity and concern situation
- The selected candidate will be trained to obtain the skills needed to be a Certificated Digital Prosthetics Engineer and shall pass the assessments provided by his/her superiors.
- Correspond to design, fit, maintain and deliver prosthetic legs
- Patients contact part
- Evaluate patients to determine their situation and needs to provide prosthetics.
- Measure patients in order to design proper prosthetics.
- 3D-Scan the part of a patient’s body in order to get 3D data for a prosthetics design.
- Design prosthetics using 3D-CAD software.
- Check and observe the fitting condition and adjust the prosthesis leg to match with the patient.
- Instruct patients how to use and care for his/her device.
- Repair or update prosthetics.
- Record on all required documents for all of the patients' information.
- Correspond to travel and delivery service and go to patient homes in a specified span.
- Workspace management
- Regular cleaning.
- Inspection and inventory management of materials. (i.e. prosthetic parts)
- Management and maintenance of tools.
- Assess the skill of DPEs and give technical feedback
- Operation part
- Check DPE operation by following the educational material.
- Perform the ability that he/she is able to make a solution and analyze problems under difficult situations.
- Provide the training with new members and unskilled DPE. Also, create the documents for the training.
- Attitude
- Prompt other members' opinions and create better analysis.
- The person can explain the concern logically.
- Have leadership to tackle problems for the new activity and concern situation
- Operation part
- In the difficult situation, the person can suggest the alternative idea to overcome the problem
- Making the proposal to the superior after considering the pros and cons of the idea
- Attitude
- Even though the situation is difficult, the person keeps considering the solution to proceed to the next step.
- Can hear other member opinions and create the best solution
- The selected candidate will be trained to obtain the skills needed to be a Certificated Digital Prosthetics Engineer and shall pass the assessments provided by his/her superiors.
- All of the training associated with the examination is delivered by our internal training program.
- The person shall pass the internal examination within the probationary period.
- With bachelor degree of any engineering/science course preferably Mechanical Engineering
- The ability to work under strict deadlines without letting the shortage of time affect the quality of work
- Knowledge on resolving design and functional issues arising in the course of a project
- Good verbal and written communicator in English
- Self-motivated, self-disciplined and can do the job with minimal supervision
- Standard computer skills: Word, Excel, email, online communication tools (slack, etc.)
Pay: Php20,000.00 - Php23,000.00 per month
