• Manage the monthly financial close process for all its subsidiary, ensuring that all costs incurred are properly recorded, all vendor invoices are properly approved and recorded, and all account balance reconciliations and subsidiary schedules are prepared accurately and timely
• Prepare and present monthly financial statements, with comparison to budget and analytical review of variances.
• Manages the company financial planning and prepares financial forecast
• Participate in the ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes.
• Continued focus on improving system efficiencies, business practices and internal controls
• Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance
• Interacts at all levels and with budget owners or other stakeholders to produce timely, efficient and accurate month-end close and all internal management and financial reporting through annual report
• Responsible for hierarchy and scalability in chart of accounts and accuracy in the general ledger and financial statements and has ultimate authority over classification and booking of all transactions
• Keeping current with changes in Generally Accepted Accounting Standards and implementing any resulting changes in accounting.
• Make recommendations for changes as needed and ensure that company policies and procedures are followed and establishes the proper techniques to discover and prevent fraud
• Manage the preparation and filing of all income, VAT, payroll and other tax returns
• Ensures compliance with all the government agencies, including but not limited to BIR, PEZA, and BOI; be the primary contact during audit
• Determine KPIs and manage staff to meet these KPIs
• Hire and supervise local finance and accounting personnel

• CPA required
• Accounting degree from an accredited accounting program
• Minimum 12-15 years of relevant experience, including conducting audits of and/or preparing financial statements for large enterprise. Preferably a combination of experience from the Big 4 auditing firm and a BPO company
• Netsuite experience highly desirable
• With excellent communication (both written and verbal) and excel skills
• Willing to work on a graveyard shift schedule
