Food and Beverage Manager

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Food & Beverage (F&B) Manager to lead our F&B department at Bauan, Batangas. The F&B Manager will be responsible for overseeing all food and beverage operations to deliver an exceptional guest experience, driving revenue, managing costs, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of F&B operations, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and service.
Key Responsibilities:
F&B Operations Management:
  • Oversee the daily operations of all F&B outlets, including restaurants, bars, room service, and banquet facilities.
  • Ensure that all F&B outlets operate efficiently and profitably, delivering high-quality food and service to guests.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for F&B operations to maintain consistency and quality.
Menu Planning and Development:
  • Collaborate with chefs and culinary teams to create diverse, innovative, and high-quality menus that meet guest expectations and maximize revenue.
  • Regularly review and update menus based on guest feedback, seasonal availability, and market trends.
  • Ensure proper portion control, presentation standards, and adherence to food safety regulations.
Guest Experience and Service Standards:
  • Maintain high standards of guest service, ensuring that all F&B staff provide courteous and professional service.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and effectively, implementing service recovery processes as needed.
  • Conduct regular service audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Staff Management and Training:
  • Recruit, train, and manage F&B staff, including servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, and banquet coordinators.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on service standards, product knowledge, and health and safety protocols.
  • Monitor staff performance, provide coaching and feedback, and conduct performance evaluations to build a high-performing team.
Financial Management:
  • Develop and manage the F&B department budget, including revenue forecasts, cost controls, and expense management.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze sales trends, and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets and control costs.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks, manage procurement, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
Health, Safety, and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards, and hotel policies.
  • Conduct regular health and safety training and drills for F&B staff.
  • Maintain and update records related to food safety, inspections, and certifications.
Event Planning and Coordination:
  • Work closely with the sales and events teams to plan and execute successful events, banquets, and catering functions.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless execution of events and special occasions.
  • Develop promotional strategies and packages to attract group bookings, weddings, and corporate events.
Reporting and Analysis:
  • Prepare regular reports on F&B performance, including sales, costs, guest satisfaction, and staff productivity.
  • Use data and analytics to make informed decisions, optimize pricing, and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in F&B management within the hospitality industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of F&B operations, service standards, and culinary trends.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in F&B management software, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Knowledge of local regulations and labor laws in the Philippines is an advantage.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
