Provides leadership in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in specific unit/s assigned to him/ her. He is responsible in ensuring that agreed standards and all regulatory requirements are complied with. He manages all the assigned staff, equipment and material resources in the unit. Ensures that continuity of care with other shifts and teamwork are maintained and promoted all the time.
Qualifications:

• Must be a Registered Nurse in the Philippines with at least nine (9) units in management and administration course at the post graduate level.
• Must have at least two (2) years’ experience in clinical nursing, inclusive of one to two (1-2) years Nursing Administration.
• Physically, psychologically and emotionally stable.
• With skills in office suites/ applications such as Word, Excel and Power Point.
• Has good moral character and good interpersonal relationship with other members of the health team.
• With effective verbal and written communication skills to communicate with diverse populations.
• At least attended any basic leadership/ management training or successfully completed the Effective Nursing Service Administration Training (ENSAT), Preceptorship Seminar and Performance Improvement Training.
• Must have an updated training on BLS and IV Therapy, preferably an IVT Preceptor.
