• Gecogeco provides cloud software development services to clients and is an affiliated company of the Light Cafe Group, which has over 800 employees primarily based in Japan. We started our operations in Cebu, Philippines in 2018. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have expanded our recruitment outside Cebu. We now have more than 30 employees across the Philippines. We are a certified AWS consulting partner with almost all of our software engineers AWS certified and provides specialized services in this domain.

Job Description:

• Overall responsibility for Engineering division activities.
• Set division objectives and monitor ongoing progress and performance.
• Responsible for developing the appropriate organizational structure, resource plans and culture.
• Connect business purpose and goal with actual engineering work within division.
• Provide leadership to build and maintain a culture of excellence, mentorship, and collaboration.
• Design career paths and job descriptions.
• Manage recruitment to evaluation process with HR section.
• Formulate and decide policies related to organization operations and member wellbeing.
• Manage engineer resources for optimal project assignment to balance their growth opportunities and projects needs.
• Lead internal training planning, design and implementation process.

Job Requirements:

• Section/division management experiences with more than 10 members.
• At least 10 years of experience in Web software engineering industry.
• Degree holder in a relevant field, such as computer science or management.
• Professional experience in either AWS, GCP or Azure.
• Professional experience in any modern web application framework.
• Japanese language skill is an advantage (N1/N2 JLPT Certification).

Work Conditions:

• Employment Type: Full-time.
• Setup: Hybrid, up to 2 office days per week, Cebu Business Park, Cebu.
• Shift: Monday to Friday, semi-flexible (core work hours: 10 AM - 4 PM).
• Rest Day: Fixed weekends off.

Pay: From Php190,000.00 per month
Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

• 13th month salary
• Overtime pay
