Job Overview
We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our team in Manila for a 5-month maternity cover. In this role, you will provide key support across all HR functions, working closely with the People and Culture Lead and business leaders. You will manage recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration while coordinating payroll with our external vendor. Key Responsibilities

1. Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, including posting jobs, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Assist in drafting and updating job descriptions to attract the right talent.
  • Prepare job offers and manage candidate communications to ensure a positive experience.
  • Support onboarding for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
2. Employee Engagement & Wellbeing Initiatives
  • Support the implementation of employee engagement and wellness programs, ensuring initiatives are aligned with company values.
  • Assist in coordinating HR-related training and development programs to promote continuous learning.
3. HR Administration
  • Maintain accurate employee records, including leave administration and HR reporting.
  • Prepare and issue Certificates of Employment (COE) and manage the employee confirmation process.
  • Respond to HR queries and provide support on HR-related matters in a timely manner.
4. Policy & Compliance
  • Update and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labor laws.
  • Create and maintain HR templates and forms to streamline processes.
5, Payroll Coordination
  • Act as the main point of contact between the company and third-party payroll providers.
  • Ensure accurate employee information is submitted to the payroll provider, including new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, and benefits deductions.
  • Coordinate timekeeping processes by gathering and verifying timesheets from all departments to ensure accurate tracking of work hours, overtime, and leaves.
  • Review payroll reports for discrepancies and collaborate with HR and the payroll provider to resolve any issues before finalizing the payroll.
  • Assist employees with payroll-related inquiries, including pay slips, deductions, and benefits.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • At least 3 year of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role.
  • Experience in liaising with payroll vendors and coordinating payroll runs.
  • Strong knowledge of local labor laws and HR compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • High level of integrity, honesty, and ethical decision-making.
  • Proficient in Google Suite and familiar with HR/recruitment platforms
  • Previous experience in an advertising or creative agency is a plus.
  • Ability to handle sensitive employee information with confidentiality.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with a strong problem-solving approach.
