About this role

• Manage a remote finance team
• Preparation of financial and management reporting, analysis of variances
• GL reconciliations
• Ensure month end account reconciliations are accurately prepared and are presented to the Finance Manager for review on a timely basis.
• Manage payment process and bank accounts with a focus on internal control
• ·nvolvement in the preparation of Budgets & updates
• Sales Platform reconciliations (Amazon, JD.com, Rakutan, TMALL etc)
• Consumption taxes (Sales Tax & VAT) returns & accounting
• Inventory management & associated reconciliations
• Work closely with key team members to ensure accuracy of financial data and automation to streamline existing processes.
• Ensure proper application of Accounting Standards.
• Ad hoc reporting and analysis as required, project evaluation and assessments.
• Preparation and maintenance of financial policies and procedures.

Qualifications / Skills:

• 3 – 5 years’ experience in an accountant position
• CPA qualified
• MS Excel, Xero, MYOB, and/ or Quick Books
• A sound professional accounting focus with both financial and management accounting skills.
• A capability and commitment to develop a motivated & successful accounting team.
• Excellent oral and written communication.
• Demonstrate effective levels of innovation. eg process improvement, data analysis driving change
• Excel / Google Sheets & other similar tools – Advanced level
