About the Role:
As a Tax Accountant, you will play a crucial role in preparing tax returns, supporting Research and Development (R&D) tax credit studies, conducting tax technical research, and applying your knowledge to various client situations across different industries. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, manage multiple clients and projects, and provide tailored solutions to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities

• Prepare tax work papers and input data into Pro Connect Tax Software.
• Assist in preparing Research and Development (R&D) tax credit studies.
• Conduct tax technical research and apply findings to support client needs and specific situations across various industries.
• Maintain and update client projects in our proprietary app.
• Monitor client Slack channels and Frond for support needs.
• Manage and implement multiple projects simultaneously, including computations, analysis, data gathering, and coordination.
• Perform engagement setup and management activities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Develop business and industry expertise to provide tailored client solutions.
• Participate in additional projects and duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field (required).
• 2-4 years of experience in accounting, tax, financial services, or financial technology.
• Strong interest in further developing knowledge of general accounting and tax accounting.
• Proven experience in researching and communicating tax accounting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to evaluate and articulate complex information clearly.
