Job Summary: To ensure that taxes and compliance requirements are efficiently paid and carried out based on statutes and ethical standards set by the Government and the Company, as well as providing prompt service to internal and external clients.
Duties and responsibilities:

• Ensures the Company’s compliance with existing tax laws and regulations
• Manages the Company’s internal revenue tax liabilities and remittances to the tax authorities [i.e., Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) and Local Government Units (LGUs)]
• Ensures submission and compliance with tax-related reporting requirements to appropriate authorities
• Engaged in tax planning and forecasting
• Liaise with the tax authorities and other government agencies during audits, assessments and other engagements
• Responds to Regulatory inquiries and surveys
• Handles recording of Accounting Transactions not just for tax but for the Company and business lines as a whole
• Ensures adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards and other Accounting Standards prescribed in Country or Globally, as necessary
• Assists the CFD/SFM in managing and completing finance-related legal requirements (e.g., Corporate Secretarial requirements)
• Assists the CFD/SFM in the review of contracts (Vendor and Client)
• Reports to CFD/SFM any potential tax and financial risks
