A mid-sized company belonging to one of the big conglomerates in the Philippines is in need of dedicated and experienced one (1) IT Officer skilled in web-based programming for regular appointment. The IT Officer will play a pivotal role in strategic planning, implementation, and management of organization’s IT infrastructure, network, system design and development of web-based databases. He/she will ensure exceptional and timely IT project completion and driving operational excellence of all IT functions. This position is full-time requiring at least three (3) years of progressive experience in IT management, infrastructure, network system and knowledge on web-based programming.
Job Description

• Lead the IT Department to ensure all IT related matters are resolved and attended to
• Escalates all IT related matters to the top management and provide recommendations
• Designs, develops, tests, debugs, documents and implements complex applications and web-based databases
• Design, create, recommend to improve systems, programs, database.
• Assists with all IT related technical support issues.
• Determines the nature of the problem, diagnose hardware or software issues, and communication facilities; provides effective assistance
• Install new software applications and train employees on proper application use.
• Installing and configuring computer systems.
• Maintains and secures company database, firewall policy configuration, and other related IT matters
• Responding to IT support requests.
• Meeting with suppliers/contractors to diagnose software, networking, hardware, and communication facilities issues.
• Providing technical support on-site or via remote-access systems.
• Offering solutions that meet the needs of the company.
• Repairing hardware malfunctions, software issues, and networking problems.
• Tracking and managing work records.
• Compiling job reports.
• Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time

Qualifications

• Resident of Metro Manila and must be willing to work and be relocated in Makati City
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Proven work experience as an IT Supervisor or IT Head, Technical Support Engineer, programmer, System Administrator, or IT Support, with a track record of successful Leadership skills
• Skilled in in computer and web-based programming and designing database and reports
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, computer hardware, networking systems, operation systems, database management and emerging technologies.
• Knowledge in Biometrics and CCTV operations
• Knowledge on data privacy and compliance regulations
• Experience in managing customer operations related IT systems administration
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Can resolve all IT issues quickly and effectively while maintaining a good relationship with co-workers and officers.
• Must be willing to work onsite in Makati
