Laboratory Analyst 4 is the person to ensure the internal and external quality and compliance to consumer and quality regulations of refined carrageenan, dry blends, sample request, pre shipment samples and others as required by PBI Management.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Conducts moisture content, p H, water gel strength, potassium gel strength testing and all testing as necessary of all ZK, dry blends, sample request and pre-shipment samples for customers.
2) Create Certificate of Analysis based on the test results conducted.
3) Compare the test result conducted based on product specifications.
4) Recommend if the finished product is accepted for releasing.
5) Raise concern to supervisor if the finished product deviates the specifications.
6) Make sticker labels, Loading Notice and release sticker for the products accepted for releasing before the loading date.
7) Accomplish Material Nonconformity Advice and hold tag when the finished product is confirmed to deviate the specifications.
8) Get enough samples from production and warehouse of the material to be tested.
9) Obtain appropriate retention sample for stability testing.
10) Perform stability testing of retention samples monthly.
11) Conduct investigation and complete investigation report for product complaint.
12) Perform GMP inspection and finish GMP inspection report on time.
13) Conduct QMS and FSMS audit and accomplish the QMS and FSMS audit report on time.
14) Implement the food safety, quality and regulatory procedures and policies at all times
15) Relieve the other roles in the department in case of absences and lack of manpower.
16) Other task assigned by supervisor or manager relevant to the position and function of the
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
a. Education
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Nutrition, Sciences or other technical courses. License in any of the degrees is an advantage.
b. Work Experience • At least 5 years of working experience as a laboratory analyst in the food manufacturing industry.
