Sadsad-Tamesis Legal and Accountancy Firm is looking for: LEGAL SECRETARY
Job Qualification:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in any field.
- Degree in Legal Management and other fields of law is an advantage.
- Required language(s): English, Filipino.
- At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is an advantage.
- Preferably not a law student
- Required Skill(s): Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, fast learner, hardworking, and willing to learn.
- Receive, arrange, safeguard, and transmit mail and letters to the proper personnel for the firm.
- Organize all clients' files and folders. Keep inventories of all legal documents.
- Answer calls and queries from clients. Schedule appointments with lawyers.
- Draft letters, type pleadings, and others, as assigned by the lawyer.
- File and email necessary pleadings and letters, as required by the lawyer.
- Attend meetings and hearings, as assigned by the lawyer.
- Coordinate with government agencies in filing, processing, and claiming documents.
- Assist lawyers and other personnel from legal, corporate, and other departments in clerical work and other projects or tasks assigned.
- Act as a reliever in the absence of the petty cash custodian.
- Maintain order and cleanliness in the office.
- Maintain the Notarial Register of the lawyers in the firm.
- Perform other duties or tasks as assigned from time to time.
