JOB TITLE: Legal Counsel
Location: BGC
Salary: P80,000 - P110,000
Qualifications:

At least bachelor degree from an accredited law school in Philippines or overseas.
Familiar with and in-depth knowledge of Company Law, Labor Law, Civil Law and relevant laws and regulations, especially in the area of lending industry/financing company is plus.
Minimum 5+ years working experiences, in law firms and corporates concentrated on commercial and business area, PE/VC investments or legal departments of banking or financial institution related companies is plus.
Excellent communication skills, fluent and advance level in English, both in speaking and writing.
Strong sense of responsibility and good consciousness of time.
Good awareness of team work and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent flexibility ability and open for new challenge.
Be able to work in a fast pace, high-growth environment and to grasp complex new business concepts, good commercial acumen and creative approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

Assisting the legal team in reviewing, negotiating and drafting legal documents in relation to simple and complex corporate governance and commercial agreements, contracts, statements etc.
Giving accurate legal direction or advice to the team member on a wide range of legal activities that influence the -Independently conducting legal research in relation to laws and regulations of all business areas of company.
Working closely with departmental and group leadership to support business initiatives, advising on contract implementation, legal risks, and the legal liabilities associated with different deals.
Helping establish and maintain the legal-related issues, regulatory system and corporate governance issues with the group.
To anticipate and manage the legal risks connected with or resulting from the business strategy and operations, to provide advices and suggestions on decision making.
Other duties as assigned and requested.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Php80,000.00 - Php120,000.00 per month
