Job Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Logistics Assistant to support our import and export operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and customs processes, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review shipping documents, including Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Form E, for accuracy and completeness.
• Receive final orders from the Purchaser/Sales Department and ensure timely processing.
• Initiate the opening of Letters of Credit as required for shipments.
• Receive, disseminate, and verify the accuracy of shipping information.
• Advise the Warehouse section and Sales Department on tires subject to DTI inspection and testing.
• Prepare payments for freight charges and ensure timely transactions.
• Monitor and coordinate with Customs representatives on the processing, release, and delivery of imported tires from the Bureau of Customs and customs ports.
• Provide the final assessment notice to the Finance Department for payment preparation.
• Monitor the DTI processing and availability of DTI certificates, stickers, and Tire Test reports.
• Initiate the transfer of tires subject to testing at accredited testing laboratories.
• Provide Import Status Monitoring Reports to the Purchaser and AVP for Legal & Admin.
• Keep the Sales Department updated on shipment statuses.
• Maintain, file, and organize all related import documents for easy access.
• Update the Finance Head and Purchaser/AVP for Legal & Admin on new government issuances related to import, customs, and DTI processing.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Customs Administration or a related business course.
• At least 2 years of experience in handling import and export operations.
• Preferably a licensed professional in the field.
• Knowledge of Bureau of Customs processes is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and analytical with attention to detail.
• Relevant experience is essential for this position.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
Supplemental Pay:

• 13th month salary
