The Manager, Data Privacy in the Cebu Pacific Group will assist the Group’s Data Protection Officer (DPO) in developing, implementing, and maintaining the data privacy activities and initiatives for our entities.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in educating the personnel on data privacy
- Assist in developing, reviewing, and revising the Group’s data privacy policies, standards, and guidelines
- Assist in reporting privacy matters to the Board and the Senior Management
- Assist in conducting privacy impact assessments (PIAs)
- Assist in addressing data breaches
- Assist in responding to data privacy issues or concerns of data subjects
- Assist in responding to privacy regulators and authorities
- Perform other duties and tasks that may be assigned in the interest of data privacy and upholding the rights of the data subjects.
- College degree in Information Technology (IT), Technology Management, Legal Management, or related fields
- Knowledge and experience in information privacy laws, including but not limited to the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (the Act) and its Implementing Rules and Regulations
- Knowledge in information systems and internal controls
- Demonstrated organization, facilitation, written and oral communication, and presentation skills
- Recommended privacy certification such as the following:
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
- Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP)
- Other related credential, e.g., Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
Note: This position is for an Individual Contributor and will be based in Pasay City, Metro Manila but currently follows a hybrid workplace flexibility arrangement.
