Role Description
The job purpose of a Marketing Manager is to develop and implement strategic communication plans and initiatives that enhance the company’s brand image, reputation, and visibility. This role plays a critical part in shaping how the public perceives the brand and ensures that the brand’s messaging is consistent and aligned with its goals and values. The overall goal of the Marketing Manager is to develop, implement, and execute strategic marketing plans, strengthen the brand’s image, increase brand awareness and engagement, and drive positive perceptions among the target audience, ultimately contributing to the achievement of the organization’s business goals.
Qualifications

• A holder of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or equivalent
• At least three (3) years experience in managerial level
• At least five (5) years relevant marketing experience
• Digital Marketing Certification is an advantage

Responsibilities
Brand Marketing -

• Develops and executes a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives - includes defining brand’s unique value proposition and positioning in the market

Marketing Intelligence & Customer Care -

• Ensures consistency across all communication channels
• Conducts market research to understand consumer preferences and market trends, and use the data to refine and adjust marketing strategies
• Maintains a strong presence on social media platforms by monitoring conversations, and responding to feedback well
• Protect and enhance the brand’s reputation and image by monitoring and responding to online conversations and addressing any negative sentiment or potential brand risks

Creatives & Operations -

• Oversees events and sponsorships that align with the brand’s image and goals and ensures they receive the desired exposure and recognition
• Manages the budget allocated for marketing activities and ensure that resources are allocated efficiently
• Manages compelling and effective content for various mediums - such as advertising, social media, websites, press releases, and more
• Plans and oversees media campaigns to reach the target audience effectively - includes managing advertising budgets and selecting appropriate media channels
• Manages, and maintain brand messaging
• Manages the company’s public relations efforts - may include media relations, press releases, and outreach to influencers and stakeholders to secure positive media coverage and manage potential crisis situations
• Ensure that all marketing strategy adheres to company guidelines and maintain consistency in messaging and visual identity
• Protect and enhance the brand’s reputation and image by monitoring and responding to online conversations and addressing any negative sentiment or potential brand risks
