Part-Time Social Media Marketing & Admin Assistant VA

This role will support our business by managing key marketing and administrative tasks, including social media management, lead generation, and email management. You will work closely with the owner, meeting at the start and end of each week to discuss tasks, progress, and any adjustments needed. This role is ideal for someone who can work independently, has strong organizational skills, and is interested in or willing to learn more about the field of mental health training.
About the Role:
Compensation: 540 AUD/month (paid twice a month)
Schedule: 24hrs/week, flexible schedule (South Australia Business Hours)
Location: Remote
Availability: Start ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management
- Regularly update social media channels, ensuring consistent posting and engagement.
- Create, schedule, and publish stories, reels, and updates about upcoming training sessions.
- Develop promotional materials, including flyers and graphics.
- Generate and manage leads for upcoming training courses using Kajabi and other tools.
- Track and nurture leads to help ensure course registrations, particularly for upcoming events in Sydney, Melbourne, and Queensland.
- Manage and organize four email accounts, responding to inquiries and flagging important messages.
- Assist with follow-ups to maintain client relationships.
- Develop and implement promotional campaigns for upcoming training sessions.
- Keep the website updated on Squarespace with relevant course dates and locations.
- Assist in other administrative tasks as needed, ensuring efficient operations and a clear workflow.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Virtual Assistant in a similar marketing role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Mac (experience with Windows for Mac is a plus)
- Familiarity with Gmail, Kajabi (or similar CRMs), and Squarespace
- Experience in social media management and lead generation preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Willingness to learn and upskill in areas such as marketing or CRM if needed
