Job Summary
The Partnership Development Officer (PDO) supports the Unit in the development, implementation, Entrepreneurship, Corporate, and University partnerships; fundraising programs for local Child Sponsorship; and of online/offline campaigns and events that support the goals and objectives of FH Philippines.
The PDO also contributes to proposal development and other initiatives to ensure funding sustainability and improved brand recognition of FH Philippines.
Principal Responsibilities
Key Result #1: Resource mobilization
- Support during the identification and engagement with potential partners; and recruitment of donors from private individuals and corporations, interns, and volunteers that could support the strategic objectives of the Country Office.
- Assist in the dissemination of partnership criteria and tools ( Partner Information Form; Organizational Capacity and Risk Assessment; etc.)
- Facilitate the use of tools and processes compliant with institutional requirements;
- Assist during the development of proposals and coordination with relevant stakeholders;
- Designs, plans, and implements fundraising, marketing, and donor engagement events and campaigns;
- Prepare promotion materials for the fundraising efforts, to include production of marketing materials, website, and media info materials (newsletters, publication, press releases, etc.)
- Facilitate the preparation and execution of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), signed by all parties;
- Oversee preparation and production of all promotional mailings, printed pieces, and web communications, as related to local sponsorship and partners;
- Distribute sponsorship packets to advocates, volunteers, and prospective sponsors during events;
- Responsible for maintaining complete donor/partner records to ensure timely expression of thanks, and activities to encourage donor retention and loyalty;
- Communicate and provide updated reports to existing local partners/sponsors through calls, text, emails, newsletter, and promotional materials according to set schedule;
- Develop and maintain a good relationship with all service providers/suppliers, Corporate Partners, Artists, Teams, Churches, Universities, Volunteers, Interns, Community people, and colleagues;
- Coordinate with the Program Unit for the identification of community recipients for corporate donations;
- Coordinate with Procurement for the receipt, storage, and distribution of donated items;
- Send donors Deed of Donation, and thank you letters for GIK donations.
- Pursue ongoing training, professional and personal development in the form of seminars, conferences, and online learning opportunities.

- Demonstrated computer operating skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Google platform, and virtual technologies such as Skype and/or Go To Meeting;
- Excellent organizational skills; ability to plan and coordinate work, ensure the efficient flow of projects and processes;
- Comfortable and persuasive when speaking before both large and small groups;
- Ability to interact positively with all levels of the organization and across organizational and cultural boundaries.
- Ability to travel up to 10 % of the time per year to Area Programs and expansion communities; and to donor/ partner conferences and workshops.
- Minimum experience of 3 years specifically in partnership development and proposal development;
- Experience working with INGOs, preferably with development and/or relief organizations;
- Background with fundraising and partnerships with corporate and/or individual donors (desirable);
- Experience using international development and human rights advocacy (desirable).
- Bachelor Degree (Marketing, Business Course, Communication or related courses) required or equivalent combination of education and experience. Graduates of other courses may be considered if he/ she has the experience and competency requirements of the post.
Proficiency in spoken and written English and Tagalog. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Supervisor Responsibilities
This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
