Curriculum Development Manager and Lead

At Bizmates, an English school dedicated to teaching English to Japanese business professionals, you will lead the creation of high-quality course materials that align with student needs and organizational goals. You will also manage a team of content writers and digital media creators, collaborating closely with department heads to ensure timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of content writers and digital media creators, ensuring high performance, attendance, and quality of work. Regularly assess team performance, provide constructive feedback, and address attendance issues promptly.
- Schedule and facilitate necessary meetings to discuss updates, address concerns, and foster effective communication.
- Oversee the creation, review, and assessment of both new and existing course materials and programs.
- Identify outdated content in learning materials and implement updates to maintain relevance and accuracy.
- Coordinate resources such as people, materials, equipment, and technology for efficient operations.
- Provide upper management with recommendations to enhance product quality and improve processes.
- Train and mentor staff to support their professional growth and development.
- Collaborate with Japan-based counterparts to ensure new programs and services meet client needs.
- Lead the development, improvement, and maintenance of course materials.
- Assist in conceptualizing new products and programs to expand the organization's offerings.
- Ensure all tasks and projects are properly assigned, closely monitored, and completed on time, meeting the highest quality standards.
- A graduate of any Bachelor's degree.
- Proven experience in project management, course material development, and team leadership.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Proficiency in the Japanese language (spoken and written) is an advantage.
