Location: Boracay (Covering 5 Properties: Mandarin Bay Resort & Spa, Mandarin Nest, Mandarin White Sand, Mandarin Island, Island Inn)

Role Overview:
The Payroll Officer will be responsible for managing and processing payroll across five properties under the Mandarin Premier Group. This role is critical in ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of payroll, compensation, and benefits while adhering to company policies and government regulations. The Payroll Officer will work closely with the HR across all properties and Corporate Office, ensuring consistency and compliance in all payroll-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing & Administration:
Process payroll for all employees across five properties in Boracay, ensuring timely and accurate salary disbursement.
Maintain accurate payroll records, including deductions, overtime, and adjustments for over 500 employees across multiple properties.
Coordinate with department heads to verify timesheets, attendance, and leave records, ensuring accuracy in payroll entries.
Handle salary inquiries, discrepancies, and adjustments in a timely and professional manner.
Compensation & Benefits Management:
Administer and monitor the implementation of the Compensation & Benefits programs, including basic salary, allowances, bonuses, and incentives.
Ensure proper computation and disbursement of statutory benefits such as SSS, Phil Health, Pag-IBIG, and other legally mandated contributions.
Assist in the preparation and management of 13th Month Pay, bonuses, and other compensation-related benefits.
Collaborate with HR to maintain and update employee benefits packages such as HMO, life insurance, and leave entitlements.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure compliance with all labor laws, including tax laws, minimum wage adjustments, and statutory contributions for all properties.
Prepare and submit accurate reports to government agencies (BIR, SSS, Phil Health, Pag-IBIG) in compliance with statutory requirements.
Regularly audit payroll records and procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and payroll forecasts for all properties.
Systems & Technology:
Utilize payroll software and HRIS (Hermes & Chronos) to ensure efficient processing of payroll and benefits.
Manage the integration of payroll systems with timekeeping and attendance systems across all properties.
Continuously seek ways to improve payroll processes, streamline procedures, and enhance system functionalities.
Collaboration & Communication:
Liaise with property HR Managers, department heads, and the Corporate Office to ensure smooth payroll processing and resolve any payroll-related issues.
Provide guidance and training to HR staff in each property on payroll procedures and updates.
Ensure clear communication with employees regarding payroll policies, deductions, and benefits.
Key Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of payroll management experience, with a strong focus on Compensation and Benefits administration.
Experience in managing payroll across multiple properties or companies is highly preferred.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of payroll systems, labor laws, and government compliance.
Proficiency in payroll software and HRIS (e.g., Hermes, Chronos, etc.).
Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across departments and properties.

Compliance Awareness: In-depth understanding of Philippine labor laws and statutory requirements.
Additional Information:
The Payroll Officer will be based in Boracay and must be flexible to travel between the properties as needed. The role requires strong collaboration across all departments to ensure smooth payroll operations for over 500 employees.
