Procurement Officer

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Procurement Supervisor/Officer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement and purchase of equipment’s and services, and overseeing the supply chain process. You will be expected to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of equipment’s and services, while maintaining a high level of quality. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing procedures, policies and systems to ensure the efficient procurement and delivery of equipment’s and services. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities
1. Develop, implement, and manage procurement and logistic policies and procedures.
2. Monitor and report on procurement and logistic performance, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and organizational standards.
3. Develop and manage supplier relationships and contracts.
4. Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure the best prices, terms, and services.
5. Source, identify, and evaluate potential new suppliers and vendors.
6. Develop and maintain supplier scorecards, ensuring compliance with organizational requirements.
7. Monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and cost objectives are met.
8. Manage and coordinate the procurement and logistic process, including ordering, receiving, and invoicing.
9. Prepare and review purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
10. Analyze market and delivery systems to develop and recommend strategies for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or related field
· At least 2-3 years of experience in procurement and/or purchasing
· In-depth knowledge of procurement and sourcing
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related business software
· Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
· Willing to work under pressure
