PROPERTY OPERATIONS SPECIALIST (Remote)

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Property Operations Specialist to oversee the day-to-day management of hotel operations remotely. This role involves handling operational tasks, including managing chat and phone communication with vendors, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring smooth hotel functions. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to problem-solve in real-time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Act as the main point of contact for hotel operations, managing chats and calls with hotel staff, vendors, and contractors.
  • Coordinate maintenance requests and repairs by communicating directly with service providers and vendors.
  • Manage the scheduling of regular maintenance to ensure hotel facilities are well-maintained.
  • Resolve operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions to hotel services.
  • Track vendor performance and follow up on service agreements to ensure high-quality service.
  • Maintain detailed records of operations, vendor contracts, service calls, and related activities.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to hotel management on operational matters.
  • Coordinate inventory restocking with suppliers as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, policies, and local ordinances through remote monitoring and coordination.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with hotel staff, suppliers, and external partners.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in property management, hospitality, or operations support.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle high volumes of communication via chat, phone, and email.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote setting.
  • Proficiency with communication and task management tools (e.g., Slack, Microsoft Teams, etc.).
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to act quickly in urgent situations.
  • Familiarity with hotel operations, including maintenance, housekeeping, and front desk support, is a plus.
  • Willingness to work in the US Eastern time zone and on weekends with shifting schedules.
