The Responsibilities:

• Review civil construction plans and prepare quantity requirements into Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and marked-up drawings.
• Prepare accurate quotations based on the reviewed plans and quantity take-offs, ensuring a GP% of 40% and above.
• Obtain quotes and pricing from suppliers to ensure competitive and accurate cost estimates.
• Communicate with clients via email regarding any questions related to quantity preparation and quotations.
• Ensure 100% accuracy in all documentation, calculations, and quotations.
• Maintain an organized filing system for construction documents and upload them to the CRM as required.
• Support the sales team in compiling proposals as needed.
• Document any design changes and update BOQs, marked-up drawings, and quotations accordingly.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with both external and internal stakeholders.
• Perform other tasks as required by management, due to operational needs, you may be asked to undertake other duties within the organization that may not be specified here.

The Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in civil construction estimating is preferred.
• Proficiency in Plan Swift and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of construction industry practices, regulations, and Australian standards is preferred.
• Proficient English communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
