Duties and Responsibilities:
 Reviews doctor’s request for the examination
 Identifies the patient to ensure that the person to undergo the procedure the right person indicated in the request.
 Assesses the patient and explains the examination to be done.
 Ensure patients schedule for examinations with preparation.
 Performs routine radiographic examination using quality control techniques to assure quality of image and minimize the radiation dose absorbed by the patient.
 Prepares the examination rooms and conduct routine maintenance, checking of the equipment.
 Coordinate with the Chief Radiologic Technologist, other technologist and radiologist for the proper functioning of the unit.
 Maintains cleanliness of the department.
 Responsible for filling and safekeeping of the results and films for future reference.
 Protects patients and co-workers by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.  Performs routine x-ray requests.
 Operates c-arm with minimal supervision.
 Assists Radiologist/Ob-sonologist in general and OB-Gyne ultrasound procedures.
 Carry out Plain CT-scan examinations.
 Ensure to update monthly census of one section in the department (Ct-scan, Ultrasound or X-ray).
