Job Title: Risk Analyst (US)
Work Setup & Schedule:

• Hybrid (Mon-Fri, 11:00pm to 8:00am)

What you’ll be doing:

• Risk operations: Monitoring potentially risky companies, payments, logins and users, reducing exposure and preventing loss. Expert in all Risk workstreams, providing quality work by protecting Gusto and enabling growth.
• Identifying trends: Using group forums, narratives and data to escalate appropriately.  Customer service: Working together with our customers and care team to handle escalations pertaining to our area of expertise.
• Collaborate with team members: Ensuring operational queues are handled by end of day
• Drive tooling enhancements: Driving cross functional teams to improve systems and processes.

What will make you a great fit:

• 2 years in the banking, risk operations or payments industry. Bonus if in fraud prevention, detection and/or investigation.
• Structured thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Data driven approach, ability to spot unusual patterns and sharp attention to detail.
• Process and policy oriented with excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously.
• Goal-oriented, proactive and comfortable in a fast-paced, results-oriented work environment.
• Communicates well with others.
• Excellent written, and verbal communication skills in English
• Minimum four-year accredited university/college degree.
