Duties & Responsibilities
· Facilitates compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines.
· Plan and implement OHS policies and programs to the assign area.
· Ensures a safe working environment to prevent any injuries and accidents
· Assist government inspectors in conducting of safety and health inspection at any time whenever work is being performed or during the conduct of an accident investigation by providing necessary information and OSH reports as required by the OSH standards.
· Coordinates with HR and monitors the health checklist forms daily and ensures compliance with COVID-19 safety protocols
· Carrying out risk assessments and considering how risks could be reduced.
· Leads in-house training with employees on health and safety issues and risks
· Keeps records of inspections findings and producing reports that suggest improvements; incidents and accidents and produce statistics for HR Head
· Acts as a secretary of the safety and safety committee in the assign area.
· Experience in Telecommunications Industry / SLI Project
Job Specification:

• Degree Holder, preferably Technical, Engineering or with Medical background.
• Completed the 40-hour Basic Occupational Safety and Health Training Course
• Completed the additional 48 hours of advanced/specialized OSH training course
• Preferably Safety Officer 3
• With at least 2 years experience in OSH
• Knowledgeable in writing reports and policies related to health, environmental and safety concerns and issues
• Skilled in MS Office; working knowledge of safety management information systems is a plus
• Diligent with great attention to details
