Overview
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will work with the Head of Sales to identify and generate opportunities within the current customer base. Your main goal is to qualify leads, manage appointment scheduling, and ensure a steady flow of appointments.
Key Responsibilities
- Opportunity Creation: Collaborate with the Head of Sales to identify potential opportunities within the current customer base.
- Lead Qualification: Engage with prospects, qualifying them based on their needs and potential fit for our solutions.
- Appointment Setting: Consistently book and manage appointments for the sales team with key decision-makers.
- Pipeline Analysis: Analyze the sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of qualified leads.
- Communication & Sales Techniques: Utilize effective communication methodologies and sales techniques, including discovery, qualification, objection handling, and opportunity scoring.
- Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience in an SDR role within the technology startup ecosystem, preferably in Saa S.
- Proven experience in setting appointments while selling Saa S solutions with a US$30K+ ACV alongside Account Executives (AEs).
- Product-Led Sales: Experience engaging with product-qualified accounts within a Product-Led Sales environment.
- Process-Driven:
- Ability to define optimal strategies (not just the quickest) for achieving goals through experimentation.
- Competence in creating and measuring the efficiency of actions and processes.
- Ability to work independently in remote environments with minimal supervision.
- Results & Figures Orientation:
- A deep understanding of industry sales metrics for inbound/outbound outreach.
- Competence in measuring conversion rates across different communication channels.
- Ability to reverse-engineer sales targets into productive monthly/weekly/daily actions.
- Persistence & Resilience:
- A positive, tenacious approach to managing the SDR funnel and the mechanics of software sales.
- The ability to bounce back from rejections and maintain persistence in follow-ups and messaging.
- DIY Approach:
- Proactive in suggesting and implementing process and tool improvements.
- Productive with minimal instructions, open to testing and designing new tools.
- Outreach: Knowledge of Apollo, GMass, Luna.ai, Linked In Sales Navigator.
- CRM: Experience with Hubspot.
- Enrichment: Familiarity with Skrapp.io and Rocketreach.
- Online Platforms: Basic knowledge of Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Slack.
- Flexible, ideally covering AU and Latin America timezones
- Up to $900 USD per month
