Job Overview
As Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in preparing financial statements, managing audits, monitoring financial data, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves overseeing various accounting functions, including payroll processing, month-end reporting, and accounts management, as well as collaborating with other finance team members to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
Your Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports.
- Oversee audit and compliance processes, including group reporting packages.
- Monitor and analyze financial data, focusing on capital expenditure, personnel costs, and operating expenses.
- Process payroll and ensure accuracy in salary disbursements.
- Manage month-end processes, including journal reviews, monthly management accounts, and reconciliations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to support the overall efficiency of the accounts department.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable duties.
- Assist in day-to-day finance operations and handle ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or any related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license is required.
- Previous experience in financial/statutory reporting is desirable.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize work to meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, and accounting software.
- Positive, professional attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
