Senior Accountant (US)

Job Title: Senior Accountant (US)
Work Setup & Schedule:

Hybrid (Mon-Fri, 11pm to 8am PH during transition; 7pm to 4am PH after 2-3 months)

What you’ll be doing:

Proactively communicate with team and engagement leads daily to request guidance and direction on necessary tasks and take direction accordingly
Verify data and perform data entry work from source documents (processing vendor invoices, bank feeds, recurring and adjusting entries, etc.) into accounting software (Quick Books, etc.)
Perform entry-level accounting tasks for a variety of different clients and vendors across multiple different industries
Prepare month-end close and ad hoc journal entries (ex. prepaid expenses, accrual expenses, payroll expenses, and depreciation expenses)
Participate in Accounts Payable / Receivable processes including: Process documentation (draft AR/AP SOPs for each client), Preparing customer invoices o Receiving and depositing customer payments, Processing vendor bills, Preparing checks/payment, Correspond with customers and vendors regarding account status and payment, Prepare and review aging report, and Prepare and perform bank deposits for clients
Prepare work papers to comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings, including preparation and filing of annual 1099s, submitting quarterly sales tax, etc.
Organizing and gathering workpaper information for external auditors
Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
Code transactions appropriately
Provide assistance with payroll preparation (entering manual timecards into the system, summarizing data for review, etc.)
Responsible for the monthly reconciliation of the GL, including creating schedules for various accounts (fixed assets, 401k, accrued expenses, amortization, etc.)
Assist with flux and trend analysis of income statement and balance sheet
Analyze account classification of transactions and alert Engagement Leads to information that looks inaccurate or lacks control
Work alongside client’s internal accounting team and be able to follow protocol for onsite etiquette and conduct
Assist with the preparation of timely and complete financial statements and package
Creating Standard Operating Procedures for clients with an emphasis on providing process recommendations for improvements/solutions
Assist with financial analysis (ex. cash flow analysis, monthly financial workbooks, sales analysis, etc.)
Create efficiencies via technology (ex. update Excel workbooks using advanced formulas to streamline roll forward processes such as: Index Match, Sumifs/Countifs, Pivot Tables, If combined with And/Or, Concatenate)
Complete ad hoc tasks/projects as needed (audit support, supporting on client’s internal calls, assist with annual reporting, etc.)

What will make you a great fit:

CPA / Non-CPA
Full cycle accounting experience: AP, AR, o Bank reconciliation knowledge
Month-end closing and reporting review
Management Reporting such as cash flow forecasts and budget analysis
Vendor Management
Quick Books (QBO, QB Enterprise, QB Desktop)
2-3 years of experience in US Finance and Accounting
If Senior Associate Level – Multiple Client Experience is a must
If Associate Level – Multiple Client experience is a plus only
Must be willing to work on a US Shift (night shift) during transition / 4hrs overlap after
Very good in English communication skills
Detail Oriented
Comfortable with Multi-Tasking
Excellent Time Management skills
Knows to Manage Client Expectations
With Advance Excel Skills
Can work well with team members
