Role Responsibilities

• Create, develop, and implement microservices that run in our client’s infrastructure for backend
• Actively using Agile Methodology and Rapid Application Development to optimize tools, web and mobile applications for maximum performance, speed, and scalability;
• Collaborate effectively within a cross-functional organization (including our digital experts and developers) to prioritize, scope, and communicate the progress of deliverables;
• Write clean, sleek, test-driven, modular, and highly reusable code while maintaining configurations;
• Automate the building, testing, and deployments to promote continuous delivery;
• Help release and maintain code and debug production issues;
• Participate in code reviews to ensure new code confirms to highest standards;
• Participate in technical requirements and guidelines for BE applications;
• Contribute to a team culture that values openness, collaboration, initiatives, and innovation

To qualify for this role, you must have a solid understanding of back-end development, with a strong interest to become a strong developer.
Communication Skills

• Good in speaking and writing English

Tech Skills

• 7+ years of proven experience in Node JS
• Understanding of Micro-services architecture, OOP (object-oriented programming), design patterns and technologies used in backend (asynchronous requests, transactions, storage, node JS, SQL, Graph QL and .Net, AWS, Git)
• Experience with integrating third party API’s
• Experience with Active Directory and similar technologies like LDAP
• Experience with databases and query optimization
• Experience in testing (TDD, BDD)

Methodology

• Understanding of CI / CD as a user or as a builder
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Attitude

• Passion for developing robust software with maintainable and efficient code
• You care about providing a great user experience driven by customer feedback and data insights
• Work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• A creative/independent problem solver with energy and enthusiasm to learn new technologies
