Senior Production Support Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Production Support Engineer to ensure the smooth operation and reliability of mission-critical production environments. You will lead troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution efforts while collaborating with development, operations, and business teams to maintain high service standards. This role requires strong problem-solving abilities, technical expertise, and effective communication to handle incidents and ensure system uptime.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the investigation and resolution of complex production issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
Proactively monitor and maintain systems to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with developers and operations to identify root causes and implement permanent solutions.
Write and maintain scripts and tools to automate routine tasks.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely updates and status reports.
Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24/7 support.
Develop and enhance documentation for processes, runbooks, and knowledge bases.
Identify areas for improvement in existing systems and recommend solutions.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
5+ years of experience in production support or a similar role.
Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and scripting (Bash, Python).
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Splunk) and incident management.
Solid understanding of networking, databases, and cloud services (AWS, Azure).
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: Php80,000.00 - Php140,000.00 per month
