Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Web Developer with expertise in Word Press AND Shopify. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining websites and e-commerce stores for a diverse range of clients, working closely with our design and marketing teams to ensure seamless user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain websites using Word Press and Shopify.
• Customize and integrate themes, plugins, and apps to meet client specifications.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, enhance performance, and ensure optimal functionality.
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and scalability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality projects.
• Stay current with web development trends and implement best practices.
• Lead and mentor junior developers.
• Ensure website security and data protection measures are in place.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of web development experience, focusing on Word Press and Shopify.
• Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, Java Script, PHP, Magento, Wix, Divi, and Shopify
• Proven experience with custom theme and plugin development.
• Knowledge of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Understanding of SEO and website optimization techniques.
• Proficiency with Git or other version control tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Experience with e-commerce integrations, payment gateways, and third-party APIs is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with other CMS platforms and web frameworks.
• Experience with Shopify, Shopify Plus and/or advanced Shopify customization.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
