Major Function:
Responsible for preparing and processing all documents and permits, maintaining records of all transactions and tracking shipments to ensure that they will arrive at their destinations in a precise and timely manner in compliance with customs and government regulations.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Prepare, check and verify shipping documents and forms in order to ensure adequacy of documents for further checking of BOC representative to move goods efficiently through import/ exports steps and procedures.
2. Review paper work and documents to ensure shipping, handling, storage charges and customs fees are billed correctly.
3. Secure effective and efficient sailing schedule to meet the target commitment. Monitor the shipment/ container with the help of Broker with the shipping company and supplier.
4. Provide monitoring report for tracking the status of goods.
5. Can calculate import tax and duty and can do SAP/ Oracle System Transactions
Position Qualifications:
Knowledge of shipping regulations and policies. With knowledge and experience in SAP/ Oracle System is an advantage. Proficient in MS Office.
Education:
Graduate of any four year course
Work Experience:
With knowledge and experience in Philippine Custom laws, regulations and guidelines
