I. JOB/POSITION SUMMARY
The Marketplace Listings Engineer is responsible for the development of marketplace listings and the tools used for the generation of listings. This includes the management of listings data; the creation, update, and removal of listings on different marketplaces; the development and maintenance of tools used for data entry and listings management.
II. RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage (CRUD) listings on new marketplaces: Temu US, Mercado Libre Mexico, Noc Noc.
2. Occasional management of existing marketplaces which includes but not limited to Amazon, e Bay, Shopee, Lazada, Walmart, Etsy, and Rakuten.
3. Develops & maintains PHP or Python based tools to manage listings and their data.
4. Automates manual tasks to support a more accurate and more efficient listings management.
5. Compiles & maintains listings data in the database and ensures correctness and proper encoding for other languages/translations.
6. Study changes and monitor updates of multiple marketplaces to ensure up-to-date listings requirements, marketplace rules & guidelines, and better listings visibility to customers.
7. Ensures accurate and efficient listings data, generation, update, and removal by developing and maintaining existing tools and normalizing database tables.
8. Collaborate with copywriters, content creators, AI, and designers to create engaging listings and data completeness.
9. Adheres to rules, requirements, and guidelines provided by listing marketplaces to generate quality, informative, and compelling listings.
10. Stay up to date on the latest development trends to improve the method and tools used in listings & data management.
III. REQUIREMENTS
1. Preferably with a degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming or any related field of study.
2. Proficiency in My SQL, PHP, HTML, CSS, and Java Script
3. Experience working with PHP via Web and CLI or Python.
4. Familiarity and hands-on experience with developing API clients.
5. Must be adept with Object Oriented Programming and Database Normalization
6. Knowledge in basic character encodings to support multilingual texts.
7. A year of relevant work experience is an advantage.
8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
9. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
10. Eager to learn and adapt to new technologies and trends.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From Php20,000.00 per month
