Job Description: Structural Draftsman (Revit)
*Position Summary:*
We are seeking a skilled Structural Draftsman with extensive experience in Autodesk Revit to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed structural drawings and models that support the design and construction of various projects.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Develop and modify detailed structural drawings and models using Revit.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure design intent is accurately represented.
- Prepare construction documents, including plans, sections, and details.
- Review and interpret design specifications and provide input on constructability.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Assist in the coordination of structural drawings with other disciplines.
- Maintain and update project documentation as needed.
- Participate in project meetings and communicate progress and challenges effectively.
*Qualifications:*
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in drafting or architecture.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit; experience with other CAD software is a plus.
- Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with building codes and industry standards.
- With Australian Project eexperience
*Preferred Experience:*
- 3+ years of experience in structural drafting.
- Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) processes.
- Knowledge of steel, concrete, and other structural materials.
