Thub Service Specialist (Under Supply Chain)
The Service Specialist is a senior-level associate forming part of the team responsible for transportation operations. The objective of the service specialist is to identify, mitigate, and record actions as they relate to risks associated with on-time pickup and on-time delivery. Within the team, the specialist will perform a variety of roles including tasks like shipping facility tracking, provider tracking, in-transit tracking, load recovery intiation, unload resolution, determining reassignment versus rescheduling, and providing value-stream level visibility to load status, among other transportation cost-and-service-based optimization activities for Nestle.

Key Output
Provide oversight to all physical movements within a transportation plan to ensure on-time delivery
Execute real-time analysis and decision making given exceptional situations associated with movement issues
Facilitate visibility to stakeholders external to transportation group on load status and resolution action plans
Implement market-based service strategies with respect to customer segmentation into daily problem-solving schemas
Other Skills:
- Computer-literate
- Analytical thinker
- Understanding of cost vs. service tradeoff
- Understanding of supply chain principles associated with "total delivered cost"
- Open to constant regional travel due to business need
- Open to shifting schedules and split off as needed
