Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in tourism, travel, or hospitality is required for corporate travel managers.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the travel industry.
• A minimum of 1-year supervisory experience may be preferred.
• Certification in travel or hospitality may be advantageous.
• Knowledge of travel management processes.
• The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with vendors of direct travel (existing relationships may be advantageous).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Can start as soon as possible.
• Amenable to work in Paco, Manila.

Job Description:

• Identify problem areas in the Tours Department, potential or real, and make recommendations to management regarding policy positions and decisions.
• Ensure that all Tours staff follow existing applicable procedures in the company’s quality management system documentation.
• Approve the ticket requisition of all Tours staff and ensure that client details, net rates, airline codes, tour codes, taxes, etc. used are correct and clients are properly advised of travel requirements.
• Approve Purchase Orders (and/or hotel vouchers) for airline ticketing, insurance, hotel, resort, transportation, and other related tour services (s).
• Book airline seat requests of clients on the company’s GDS or airline-provided computerized booking system.
• Inform clients of travel requirements in accordance with regulatory and statutory requirements related to FITs, land-based workers, immigrants, etc.
• Ensure that tickets for issuance and tour packages have corresponding payment for individual accounts or clearance from the Accounting department or Managing Director for corporate accounts with existing credit lines.
• Prepare costing for local and international tour packages for dissemination to clients and to the Sales and Marketing divisions;
• Assist in the preparation of bids/ quotations for government and special accounts; Visit potential clients from time to time.
