The
Trade Marketing Officer
is responsible for assisting the National Trade Marketing Manager in growing the sales business by creating and implementing appropriate training programs. The TMO supervises the trade marketing and merchandising teams to ensure they develop their management, merchandising, and sales skills in alignment with the company’s overall strategy. Additionally, the TMO crafts and assists in preparing and executing promotions based on trade needs to boost sell-out and achieve the company’s sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the National Trade Marketing Manager in formulating the annual training plan, implementing it, and conducting comprehensive evaluations in line with the company's overall strategy. Collaborate to create dedicated training plans for Trade Marketing Managers (TMM), Coordinators, and Merchandisers for the year, with quarterly and yearly evaluations based on their Key Result Areas (KRAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Implement monthly training plans to improve trainees' management and sales skills and achieve expected training results. This includes regular field coaching/training on sales negotiation, merchandising, people management, and promotional preparation and execution.
- Develop relevant sales management tools and supervise their execution by regional trade managers. Collaborate with the National Trade Marketing Manager to create training modules focused on people development, merchandising, promotions, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Develop training materials based on actual sales scenarios and participate in regional training sessions. Provide regional training for Coordinators, Merchandisers, and Distributor Personnel in collaboration with the National Trade Marketing Manager, Trade Marketing Manager, and Sales team. Develop programs, promotions, and training modules based on regional needs.
- Summarize and track changes in trainee performance, review training effectiveness, and continuously improve training capabilities. Conduct detailed evaluations and monitoring, providing action plans and additional training to enhance trainee performance.
- Directly report to the National Trade Marketing Manager and perform other tasks assigned by them, including additional responsibilities based on the company’s sales strategy.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with experience in the diaper business or any FMCG market.
- Broad knowledge of merchandising principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point).
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Effective people management skills.
- Team player.
