Job Summary:
As a Unit Head Associate at Manulife Philippines, you will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing a team of financial advisors to meet and exceed sales targets, deliver excellent client service, and uphold the high standards of Manulife’s commitment to financial well-being. This role requires a dynamic leader with strong sales and managerial skills, capable of inspiring a team, implementing effective sales strategies, and fostering a collaborative environment focused on client satisfaction and team success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership and Management:
• Oversee a team of financial advisors, providing guidance, support, and performance management to ensure targets are met.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity and drive sales growth within the team.
• Conduct regular training sessions and one-on-one coaching to enhance skills, product knowledge, and service delivery.
• Sales and Business Development:
• Set clear sales objectives for the team and support them in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
• Develop and execute strategies to expand client base, penetrate new markets, and drive revenue growth.
• Collaborate with marketing and other departments to align strategies, gain market insights, and improve product offerings.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Ensure a high level of client satisfaction by setting standards for service delivery and fostering a client-centric culture within the team.
• Address escalated client issues and provide guidance to advisors on effective client relationship management.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
• Monitor individual and team performance, analyze key performance metrics, and provide feedback to improve outcomes.
• Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management, highlighting successes, areas for improvement, and future action plans.
• Compliance and Operational Excellence:
• Ensure all activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
• Implement and monitor best practices for operational efficiency within the unit.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in financial services, insurance, or a related industry, with a proven track record in sales and team management.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of financial products, sales strategies, and market trends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
