The client you will be working for is a leading provider of customized supply chain solutions across various industries, specializing in comprehensive logistics services. Their suite of services includes transportation management, warehousing and distribution, inventory control, and dedicated fleet services. They are based in the United States.


About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Generalist to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), developing and executing marketing strategies, and enhancing brand visibility. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that marketing campaigns are aligned with the company’s objectives and customer engagement goals. Your ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies will be key to driving success in this fast-paced environment.


What you’ll do


RFP Analysis & Management:

  • Lead the intake process and project management of Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
  • Analyze and assess RFP requirements, identifying opportunities, risks, and resources needed for successful submissions.
  • Collaborate with the client’s team to structure and prepare RFP responses, creating clear timelines and delivering high-quality proposals.
  • Establish a streamlined approach to manage and handle fluctuating RFP volumes effectively, building structure into the process.
Marketing Strategy & Campaign Management
  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies, including content creation, digital marketing (email, social media), and brand management to increase visibility and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, launch, and manage marketing campaigns across various channels, utilizing creativity and data-driven insights to optimize results.
Content Development & Email Marketing
  • Create engaging email copy and set up automated workflows using tools like Zapier and CRM systems (e.g., Active Campaign).
  • Manage the setup of email marketing infrastructure, including purchasing domains and configuring addresses.
  • Develop strategic content ideas for newsletters, blog posts, social media updates, email campaigns, and printed marketing materials.
  • Analyze email open and response rates, creating actionable plans to recalibrate campaigns for both the company and clients.
Social Media Management
  • Plan and create 2-3 social media posts per week for platforms like Linked In using tools like Canva, working 2-3 months in advance to stay ahead of schedule, ensuring that content aligns with the overall marketing strategy and customer engagement goals.
Market Research & Analytics
  • Conduct market research, monitor industry trends, and analyze customer behaviors to help identify target audiences.
  • Use data and analytics to monitor the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, optimizing strategies based on insights and reporting key metrics to senior management.
CRM & Automation
  • Set up automations within CRM tools to personalize content and follow-ups for prospects and customers.
  • Create and send personalized monthly newsletters to clients and prospects, ensuring a tailored approach for maximum engagement.
Project Management & Reporting
  • Manage multiple clients, timelines, and projects, ensuring tasks are completed before deadlines.
  • Provide weekly updates and detailed reports of work completed and upcoming plans to both clients and executive leadership.
  • Develop clear, concise reports and communication for leadership and clients, showcasing results and campaign progress.
Administrative & Support Tasks
  • Perform support duties including database management, reporting, maintaining marketing collateral, and planning trade show activities (if applicable).
  • Assist in the management of the marketing budget, ensuring that all activities are cost-effective and contribute to the company’s financial goals.
Stay Updated
  • Stay up to date with the latest marketing trends, tools, and best practices to ensure strategies remain competitive and effective.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in marketing; experience in the logistics or supply chain industry is a plus.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms (Google Analytics, Active Campaign or other CRMs, Instantly or another email automation tool, Zapier, Canva, etc.).
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to translate ideas into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English, able to communicate in a fully English-speaking environment.
  • Proven ability to produce results in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, client-centric environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams and building strong working relationships.
  • Must be able to work within US Central Daylight Time (CDT) (GMT-5) and be available to join the team ASAP.
