The Team Leader - Warehouse will oversee the daily operations of the Philippine Red Cross warehouse, ensuring efficient, effective, and safe management of inventory, storage, and distribution processes. This role involves supervising warehouse staff, coordinating logistics, and maintaining high standards of warehouse management to support the organization's humanitarian missions.
Warehouse Operations Management
· Oversee and manage the daily activities of the warehouse including receiving, storing, inventory management, and dispatching goods.
· Ensure that all warehouse processes comply with organizational policies and procedures.
· Monitor and maintain the physical condition of the warehouse, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and orderliness.
· Coordinate with various stakeholders including Federation, National Societies and services for timely delivery of service.
Team Supervision & Development
· Lead, supervise, and motivate warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and evaluating performance.
· Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and efficiency.

Inventory Control
· Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper stock levels are maintained.
· Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
· Implement and oversee stock management procedures to minimize waste and loss.
Logistics Coordination
· Ensures that all Warehouse Copies of documentary requirements are complete and neatly filed accordingly as per date and/or series
Reporting
· Coordinate with suppliers and transportation services to ensure timely delivery and dispatch of goods.
· Plan and optimize warehouse layout and storage solutions to maximize efficiency.
· Monitor and manage the movement of goods within and outside the warehouse.
Safety & Compliance
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
· Develop and enforce safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
· Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
Reporting & Documentation
· Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and logistics activities.
· Maintain detailed and accurate records of all warehouse transactions and activities.
· Utilize warehouse management systems and software for efficient data management and reporting.
Emergency Response
· Support emergency response operations by ensuring the availability and readiness of necessary supplies and equipment.
· Participate in emergency preparedness planning and drills.
Management Support
· Assists with various program operations as requested, as responsibilities permit and as directed by the Manager
Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
· Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics, preferably in a supervisory role.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
· Proficiency in warehouse management systems and software.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
