We are looking for a seasoned PMO Consultant to elevate our project management capabilities, streamline processes, and cultivate a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Inventory and Ownership:

• Perform a comprehensive evaluation of ongoing and upcoming projects in various departments.
• Develop a structured approach for assigning project owners/managers based on their skills and expertise.
• Define clear roles and responsibilities for all stakeholders involved in projects.

Project Charter Development:

• Assist teams in outlining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Ensure that each project charter includes a risk management strategy, budget, timeline, and key milestones.
• Lead workshops to educate teams on the significance of project charters.

Project Management System Implementation:

• Review current project management tools to identify areas for enhancement.
• Recommend and support the implementation of a project management software solution that meets our organizational needs.
• Create standard operating procedures and templates for project management activities.

Project Prioritization and Resource Planning:

• Develop a prioritization matrix considering strategic alignment, ROI, resource availability, and risk factors.
• Assist in formulating a resource management plan focused on skills assessment and capacity planning.
• Provide guidance on resource balancing across multiple projects.

Training and Culture Development:

• Create a comprehensive training program covering project management methodologies and tools.
• Establish regular project management forums to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration.
• Implement metrics to evaluate and enhance project management practices continuously.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

• Design a dashboard to monitor project performance against KPIs.
• Establish a routine review process for project health checks and audits.
• Offer analysis and recommendations based on project data to support informed decision-making.

Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

• Develop a communication strategy tailored to the needs of different stakeholder groups.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to ensure alignment and address stakeholder concerns.
• Implement feedback mechanisms to foster ongoing improvement in stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field; PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management consulting or PMO roles.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) and tools.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proven ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.
• Locally available in Qatar with valid QID
• Can join immediately

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: QAR17,000.00 - QAR20,000.00 per month
